Dear Dorian Gray,

Lord Henry, "i wonder who it was defined man as a rational animal. it was the most premature definition ever given. man is many things, but he is not rational."

lord henry is correct, the more i think about it, the less i can believe that man is rational. sure he has his moments, his bouts of reason that lead us to proving things like a heliocentric universe model, but on the whole, he just kinda does his own thing.
man is logical only as far as this impersonal logic does not interfere with what he chooses to believe.
