talking with christians

i'll be real, i hate talking with christians. let me specify, i hate talking to christians about legit stuff. like legit legit stuff, not like "did you see Date Night?" legit. they are an infuriating bunch, at least the ones i keep talking to. especially when they double team.
first of all, its like they aren't really talking to me, they're just following a list or something. or they'll get this tone of voice that suggests i somehow don't understand what i'm talking about. like i didn't just spend the past 5 full years of my life reiterating exactly what it is that i believe and why i believe it.
or they'll say im not making sense. maybe its because im so infuriated with you that i cant form coherent sentences. thats a fool-proof way to win a debate.
this one time i had the misfortune of getting into a discussion with two friends about gay people which rapidly progressed to something waaaaay too close to my salvation. i will admit it was pretty much my fault getting into that discussion, but still. anyway, they were doing that following-a-list thing, and when they made a good a point, they high-fived.
high-fived.
it was unbelievable.
like im not sitting right there? REALLY?? i was trying to have a normal discussion about things not for lunch, and you have to go and make it into an alter call. i find it deeply ironic that all my deep friends and i can have legit conversations whenever, and i have yet to have a legit conversation with anyone christian, except maybe mr caldwell, he's pretty legit.
so in conclusion,
never try to have a conversation with a christian who gets that tone, who's leaning back in a swivel chair with their feet up with that belittling look in their eyes. don't try to talk to christians who have to double team you and act like you're not a real freaking person.

and that is what i believe.
